The Alliance Française Aix-Marseille Provence, created in 1889, is at the heart of a worldwide network of more than 800 establishments in 133 countries, run by the Fondation des Alliances Françaises and promoted by the French government. Its mission is to promote and disseminate the French language and French-speaking cultures throughout the world. Located in the centre of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, the school welcomes more than 900 students of 85 different nationalities every year. All the teachers are fully qualified and specialize in teaching French as a foreign language.

French Courses

Course Introduction

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your French, these intensive French courses are open to all levels. As you progress, your teacher will implement various activities to bolster both your oral and written skills. The school’s approach is based on learning French through tasks, recommended by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This course prepares students for the DELF/DALF diplomas. At the end of the course, students can take the DELF/DALF exam corresponding to their level in the school, which is an official exam centre.
